Jacob Rappaport is Global Head of Equities at StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SNEX), a Fortune 100® company and a leading global provider of financial services, including execution, risk management, market intelligence, and post trade services across asset classes and markets worldwide.
Mr. Rappaport oversees StoneX’s global Equities platform, encompassing Wholesale Market Making, Global Institutional Sales & Trading, Electronic Trading, Outsourced Trading, and Global Macro Strategy. Since joining StoneX and its predecessor firms in 2005, he has held a number of senior leadership positions, including Head of Americas Trading and Head of Market Making.
Since assuming the role of Global Head of Equities in 2013, the business has grown revenue by more than tenfold and has become the top ranked market maker in ADRs and foreign securities traded over the counter. In addition to leading the Equities platform, Mr. Rappaport has been an active participant in the firm’s corporate development activity, contributing to strategic acquisitions and the integration of new businesses into StoneX’s broader platform.
Mr. Rappaport is a member of the StoneX Group Inc. Management Committee and an Officer of StoneX Financial Inc., the firm’s wholly owned, FINRA registered broker dealer. He previously served as President of the Florida affiliate of the Securities Traders Association (2015–2017) and is an active member of SIFMA’s Equity Market Structure Committee, Digital Assets Committee, and Low Priced Securities Task Force. He also serves on the StoneX Women-in-Finance Steering Committee and is a member and contributor to the National Organization for Investment Professionals (NOIP). In addition, Mr. Rappaport is an Advisory Board Member for the Department of Business at Rollins College, where he earned a B.A. in International Business.
