Jeff Mendl is a seasoned financial markets executive with extensive expertise in market structure, electronic trading, exchange operations, and institutional relationship management. As Director at MCAP, he plays a key role across the firm’s business lines, expanding relationships with broker-dealers, market makers, and institutional investors while helping develop innovative execution solutions that enhance client access to global financial markets.
Prior to joining MCAP, Jeff served as Head of Broker-Dealer Sales at OTC Markets Group, where he partnered closely with broker-dealers and institutional trading firms. He also played an instrumental role in the launch of MOON ATS, an alternative trading system designed for overnight equities trading, helping advance market access and trading innovation in an evolving financial technology landscape.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Jeff is an active contributor to the securities industry. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Security Traders Association (STA National) and on the Executive Board of the Security Traders Association of New York (STANY), where he helps shape industry discussions around market structure, regulation, and trading best practices.
