Stefanos Bazinas is the Head of Transactions Product Strategy at the New York Stock Exchange. In this capacity, he leads commercial policy, product design, and regulatory and market structure strategy across U.S. equities and options. Before assuming his current role, he served as Head of Research and Analytics at NYSE, where his work spanned U.S. equities and options market microstructure, with published research examining liquidity formation, auction dynamics, and the evolving role of exchanges in modern capital markets.
Prior to joining NYSE, Stefanos built his career across the buy side and asset management industries, focusing on data strategy, portfolio analytics, and platform modernization. He holds a Master’s in Quantitative Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Chicago.
