Vanessa Yang, CFA is Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Global X ETFs, an asset management firm founded in 2008 that manages more than US$94 billion in assets and offers over 100 innovative ETFs. Global X is a member of Mirae Asset Financial Group, a global leader in financial services with more than US$801 billion in AUM worldwide. Vanessa leads the management of the firm’s equity income and options-based ETF strategies, overseeing a broad suite of derivative-based ETFs, including some of the industry’s largest covered call strategies. Her responsibilities span portfolio construction, options implementation, risk management, and product innovation.
Since joining Global X in 2016, Vanessa has played a key role in the growth and evolution of the firm’s options-based ETF platform, helping bring innovative income-oriented investment solutions to market.
